Time to clean! No more procrastination!

I have to cut down on my blogging for a little while. Quite frankly, I need to get my house cleaned up. It is a mess that I can no longer ignore. We just have too much stuff. I need to get rid of some of it etc....When I get everything clean, I will be back. Hopefully, it won't take too long!

(Sometimes I wonder if there is some Freudian reason why I often choose pictures of girls much younger than me.)

Love the peacock feather in her hand. It's such a symbol of mystery, of wisdom and everything else.

Take your time. This is blogger slow season. I'll be around. Thanks dropping by and I'll keep my eye open for you, BBE, it's all good. Who knows? I might come by and rant a little about more JW issues or whatnot.

And I know your pressence is there, withour seeing you every day. I've actually come to faithful terms with the idea that people aren't just going to forget about me that easy. Silence has its own voice. I'm listening to the words and liking the sound of them. Take care and good luck with summer cleaning!

Cleaning the house might prove cathartic. Have fun.

Everyone has to get their house in order. Take your time.
Young girls. The young takes over from the old and makes the new and that's what is happening all the time inside of us: an old part of us dying off to allow the new to emerge as you will when you clean out your house.
Make sure you get all the friendly spirits to help you as it is not a job to take lightly on your own.

Purge it! I recently moved some friends and a pre-move purge would have saved us all some pain. Not that you're moving but sometimes you just got cut down on the clutter. Good luck with it.

Well guys! I've got a lot of stuff. I am sort of a pack-rat. (I even have my oldest daughters first toothbrush!) This would not be so bad if I had some sort of organization to it. But I don't. I work a lot and I'm not such a martyr that I will spend the entire day cleaning on my days off so things have kind of reached a point where I don't feel like I can procrastinate anymore. And It will be such a relief when I am done. Just think of all of the unusual labels my boxes will have though. Kids used toothbrushes go in here....etc..

I'm moving in a month so I have to do the same. Sucks. By the way, I may be in Springfield Ill this year. Are you near there?

Moving huh! Books are heavy aren't they. I am a few hours from Springfield.

Hey Blue Eyes,

Thanks for stopping by my blog. Hope cleaning is good. I agree with the cathartic bit. Good time to remove clutter and create simplicity.

Keep those healthy metaphors alive friend! Hope you have all the boxes in order in your closets and back rooms. Take an inventory, and get rid of everything you don't want in your way, while storing away that which is useful, or will be later.

My familly defines the term pack rat! It's hillarious how that gene manifests itself. I have the bigget collection of ripped up stonewashed bluejeans I haven't worn in years. I have no idea why I have them still.

Gotta go. It's late and I have to get up too soon. Thanks for listening. Peace out, BBE.

Clitt-I will have s shining, pristine house when it's all done. (Yeah right!)

Eric-I have a 3 day weekend, so I have an opportunity to get a lot of things done. There are lots of memories attached to things aren't there. You can pick up an old thing and a flood of memories will come over you. I'm all about memories...at least good ones. They are all we have left sometimes. I found a book that I used to love when I was a little girl and I bought it and reread it. When I reread it, I even started remembering smells. Cool huh!

Aaaah spring cleaning then? Kudos to you that you're doing yours voluntarily. Until a giant rodent crawls out from underneath my bed, I think I'll be able to stand my mess :) Come back soon!

Oh, that's funny! No, I don't live in a mansion, I am just a big sloppy packrat who has too much stuff and whose house is starting to bust open at the seams who needs to do some serious throwing away.
